Kristy and Scotty were married at one of my favorite outdoor wedding venues, the Hideout on the Horseshoe. This venue has a collection of cabins that sit among the river, and the ceremony site looks over the river and the beautiful trees.
Their wedding day was one of the first days in the history of photographing weddings that I *thought* might be rained out. The previous night had showers throughout the area, and there were a few sprinkles on the windshield as I drove down the the venue. But, with a little luck, the rain held out all throughout the day. As soon as I was driving out of the parking lot, a few raindrops started sprinkling again on my windshield. Some of my brides have started calling me their “Lucky Charm” for weather on the wedding day!
Needless to say, without all of the rain worry, their wedding was absolutely beautiful. Kristy wore her beautiful cowgirl boots, and I love how all of her bridesmaids had coordinating boots, too. We had so much fun photographing their wedding, and especially taking photos at the end of the night in the special bathtub. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!
