Natalie and Patrick’s wedding was unconventional and simply beautiful, and I will remember it fondly for the rest of my life. They were married at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz, where the
flower popcorn girl carried a bucket of popcorn instead of the expected flowers. They played a video montage of amazing and hilarious marriage advice from family and guests. Of course, the video montage wasn’t complete with the awesome Alamo Drafthouse personality. Their ceremony took place on stage in front of their closest loved ones, and I love how they said vows to Patrick’s son, Pierce, before they said their vows to each other.
The couple had originally planned on showing a movie after the ceremony, but Patrick surprised Natalie with a performance from their favorite improv group, and they had the chance to partake in the hilarity of improv. The couple was whisked away by a Pedicab, and we had a chance to take some portraits at the stunning Driskill Hotel. Because their wedding had a vintage and retro theme to it, I thought I would continue the theme by presenting their images as a collection in all black and white, as an homage to the old black and white movies. Enjoy!
