The weather forecast was really terrible the week of their wedding. I was convinced that my normal “lucky charm” would wear off, and their planned outdoor wedding would be indoors. (This wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing, because the Barr Mansion reception hall is stunning.) Luckily, not a single drop of rain fell on their wedding day, and Kaitlin and James had a beautiful ceremony outside underneath the large tree.
Kaitlin and James had such a sweet wedding processional — there wasn’t a dry-eye in sight! It even brought tears to my eyes.
My other favorite moment of the day was when Josh, with Peguin Entertainment, said there was a MUST PLAY song that was coming on during the reception. As the song started, Kaitlin’s girlfriends gathered around her, and every single one of them sang their heart out to Celine Dion’s “My Heart will Go On.” It was both hilarious and sweet at the same time.
Thank you Kaitlin and James for choosing us your wedding photographers!
