Megan reminds me of one of my best friends from high school, Sarah. In fact, I think they might be doppelgangers. I feel really lucky to have a client who reminds me of one of my favorite people in the world.
Megan is funny, creative, easy-going, and you just cannot help but smile when you’re around her. Dan is the life of the party, and I love how expressive and sweet he is with Megan. I know my second photographer is going to have a blast hanging out and photographing Dan before the ceremony on their wedding day. (No pressure Dan, but we’re expecting a fun filled day!)
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that I love when couples personalize their engagement session — when they select places that have meaning to them, or incorporate things that they love. Megan and Dan dove right in to the idea, and they were just comfortable being themselves during the session. I love it!
Although it’s been a few months since I photographed Megan and Dan’s engagement session, I still look at this as one of my favorites from this Spring season.
Brushy Creek Lake Park is one of my favorite parks to photograph in the Austin area. It’s tucked away in North Austin, and we were really lucky that the bluebonnets were in full bloom for the engagement session.
When Megan emailed me and told me she’d be bringing vintage bikes to the engagement session, I was stoked. Some of the images I photographed with the bikes are my all-time favorite. I love them so much that I’m thinking about have a huge canvas printed for my office. Which image do you think I should choose as a canvas for my office? Feel free to comment below.
